Birds of a feather?
Written by Sherry

Thandie Newton showed up at an opening in London looking a little, uh, outrageous. I could forgive the red patent leather shoes even though they look a little harsh paired up with the black outfit. But the giant ostrich feather or whatever the hell that is sticking out of her head? There’s just no reason to go out in public like that. Even the Queen with all her crazy hats probably wouldn’t wear this.

I don’t get it
Written by Sherry
I think everyone has one or two (or ten) celebrities where they just don’t get it. Everyone in the world is enamored with them and you’re all, “I don’t see it. What’s the big deal?”
For me? Colin Farrell.

I don’t get the attraction. I mean, he’s not hideously ugly but he always looks so scruffy and his clothes always look like he slept in them for three days straight, and he sort of gives me the impression that if he has to choose between partying and showering, he’ll choose fun over hygiene - and that he makes that choice regularly.
What IS the hot factor?!

What the hell?!
Written by Sherry
Do you ever get the feeling that celebrities pick hideous ensembles just for the sole purpose of screwing with us? Like, they know they’ll be photographed and so it amuses them to think of the public sitting at home and thinking “WTF?” when the pictures are released?

Because I would rather think that Mary-Kate Olsen is trying to make an ironic statement or a joke at my expense than think she chose this outfit because she saw it and said to herself, “Mary-Kate, that dress/romper/short set/random outfit is HOT. People will fall over dead when they see this, and then everyone will rush out to try to buy a cheap knock-off because I will look so HOT in it. I must have it!”
I still can’t even figure out what it actually IS.

Plumber in a sparkly dress
Written by Sherry
Look, I don’t care if you’re Heidi Klum and you’re beautiful and in great shape, and a fashion model behind a killer show. That doesn’t automatically exempt you from every single fashion rule.

For instance, no matter how hot you are, plumber butt is just not attractive. Not on anyone. Heidi! Pull your dress up!

CLassy casual chic
Written by Sherry

Lauren Conrad is proof that you can go casual and still look hot, classy, and stylish. All it takes is a good pair of jeans and some kickass boots, combined with a nice jacket and a stand-out scarf. Who says only sweats can be casual and comfy?

Pay no mind to my previous post

I know that I just finished saying that Carrie Underwood’s gown was overkill for the premiere of Enchanted. However, when you’re the star of the movie and the movie is about enchanted fairy tales come to life, you can get away with it.
Amy Adams looks like a true princess in her gorgeous J.Mendel gown. Well done!

A little too frothy
Written by Sherry
I’m not saying that Carrie Underwood doesn’t look beautiful in this Elsie Katz Couture gown. She totally does. It’s a little too girly-pink and ruffly for me, but it looks fantastic on her, and if she had worn it for the American Music Awards, I’d be all over it.

But she wore this to the movie premiere for Enchanted. Isn’t that a little too much for a premiere, even if it is a red carpet? I guess it sort of works if you think about what the movie is about, but still, it’s a bit of overkill I think.

Bloomin’ Keira
Written by Sherry

Please please please tell me that Keira Knightly is actually wearing a dress and she’s just standing funny, making the bottom look like that. Please reassure me that she’s not wearing enormous blus satin bloomers. Please? Because frankly, this is Hollywood, you just never know.

Can I get you a drink? Cigar?
Written by Sherry

It’s not so much that Kristen Bell’s dress is ugly, per se, but it sure is damn hilarious. I’m sure it’s meant to be very chic, but in the end she just looks like one of those waitresses in Vegas. I look at this and I expect to see her bringing me a martini while I bet a hundred bucks on blackjack.

Not bad at all, Rachel
Written by Sherry

I don’t know how I feel about the whole belted dress fashion statement coming back into style, but it’s definitely a hot trend lately. However, there’s no denying that Rachel Bilson looks fantastic in this two-tone dress by Abaete. Basically, if you see Rachel wearing something, you can guarantee it’s top on the trends list.
