Someone PLEASE tell me who Natalie Portman’s fashion consultant is. I can’t take it anymore. There is just no reason for someone as totally cute as Natalie to continue wearing so many bad outfits. I can’t tell if this dress looks like a throwback to the 80s and early 90s (again) or a bad Vegas wedding dress. Thank god she has really great shoes on, maybe they can attract the attention away from the unfortunate dress.

You know, the dress isn’t my style at all, but I could forgive it because she still looks pretty good. However, I can not in any way condone silvery, glittery shoes (even if they ARE Christian Louboutin) with black nylons. You can not do that. First I have to say I totally applaud Keri Russell for having her body so trim after giving birth only five months ago. It’s not easy to slim back down after pregnancy so bravo to her for that, I’m sure it was very hard work.

But the dress is confusing me. What is she going for exactly? From the waist up it looks very demure with the 3/4 length sleeves and the turtleneck. It’s even a bit casual with the belt tie at her waist. But then from the waist down, we have the short skirt that looks like it may be a skirt or may be the bottom of a long sweater, the black sheer tights, and the shoes that look like maybe she’s about to perform a rousing tap dance number.

What is this outfit trying to say? I’m lost.

Natalie Portman is making me want to cry lately. She is ridiculously pretty and yet lately she’s always wearing crazy makeup that makes me weep or clothes that should go back to the 80s and stay there.

Take this t-shirt mini dress. I don’t care if it’s silk, that doesn’t make it automatically classy, it just makes it a silky bad dress. Honestly, the biggest problem with t-shirt dresses is, and always has been, the fact that the person wearing them always looks like she ran out of the house in a mad rush, completely forgetting to put on a pair of pants. Don’t people have nightmares about doing exactly that?

Poor Madonna. She’s been busy these days and apparently she hasn’t been able to spare even a moment for washing or brushing her hair.

Either that or she’s been spending time hiking and a small woodland creature climbed onto her head, turned her hair into a nest, and died. Alas.
