Another shirt-as-dress routine?

What is with this style? I don’t get it. It’s not cute, it looks weird and really does often look like someone woke up one morning, couldn’t find a clean pair of pants, and so they just threw a belt around a shirt and called it a day. I don’t care if you ARE Maria Menounos, this look just doesn’t work.
