I have a question about Jane Krakowski and the bizarre beaded thing she has going on in front of her dress.

Does she have young children who perhaps beaded this for her at school? Because if she wore it out of a desire to avoid breaking her children’s little hearts, then I can forgive this. If she’s wearing it because she actually thought it looked nice, well, that I can NOT forgive.

Never before have I seen so many people so evenly divided on a dress that was seen on the red carpet. People everywhere are talking about Angelina Jolie’s grey and brown vintage Hermes gown at the SAG Awards. Granted, people are generally talking about whether it’s concealing a pregnancy or not, but that aside, it seems people either really loved the unusual dress or really hated it.

Sandra Oh No!

What in the world was Sandra Oh thinking when she chose this flowing black dress with an enormous pink bow on the front? I know everyone generally wants to have a fair amount of attention when they stroll the red carpet, but please, this can be accomplished by choosing a NICE dress. A gigantic bow that’s bigger than your head is really not necessary. And also ugly.

Sophia Bush decided to avoid the common trend of wearing a black gown for red carpet events, so for the SAG Awards, she chose a cocktail-length brown strapless dress.

Unfortunately, though it’s good to dare to be different, brown doesn’t always work out very well on the red carpet since it tends to look dull and washed out, especially on television screens.

Eva LaRue dances the flamenco?

If Eva LaRue was wearing this shirt for a costume in some bad movie, I could forgive her for wearing it. But alas, she is not. Apparently she chose to wear it and from the looks of it, she is quite happy to be wearing some pirate-shirt and flamenco-shirt bastard child clothing.

Sharon Stone’s makeup mishap

I know that Sharon Stone was probably going for the dramatic, smoky eye makeup effect here at Sundance. It’s hard. I know, I had to get someone at the MAC counter to teach me how to do it so that I didn’t look like I had gotten punched in the eye. Maybe I can give the phone number of my local MAC girl to Sharon too? Because whatever she was trying to do didn’t work unless she really wanted to nail that, “No, I SWEAR, I walked into a door handle” look.

Also, apparently no one told her to avoid using your kitchen scissors to cut your hair.

Elisha Cuthbert was so close. The black and white are nice and classic. Her hair is awesome. She’s damn cute.

But then she stuck a giant, floppy black bow on her shirt and, well… no. Just a bad idea. If only it had fallen off before she got in front of the cameras.
