When I was a teenager, I used to mock these things that my grandmother and all her sisters had in their bathrooms. They all had these toilet paper holders that were made with half a Barbie doll and a crocheted dress was what covered the toilet paper.

I’m a little disturbed by the number of celebrities who are being spotted out and about in shiny spandex leggings. Cotton leggings, I can sort of understand because they’re comfortable and as long as you’re wearing the right kind of shirt, it works. Spandex leggings belong in only one place – the gym. They look completely wrong out on the street, and the truth is they just aren’t all that flattering no matter how thin you might be.

Madonna needs to fire her stylist

Madonna was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and good for her. I’ve always admired her business sense, even though I prefer the older Madonna stuff, back when she was new and weird.

Dressing like this for such an honor, though, will definitely help her avoid ever getting inducted into a Style Hall of Fame. The see-through look gets old when you’ve been doing it this long. The ugly white stripes drawing attention to her cleavage aren’t clever, they’re tacky.

Come on Madonna, you looked better back when you were wearing day-glo clothing and teased hair while writhing around on a gondola.
