Despite her reputation for style, I’m not often a fan of what Sarah Jessica Parker usually wears. However, I *love* this little black dress. She looks fantastic, the dress is cute, and I love the pearls. I’m not crazy about the choice of shoes, but I’m so in love with the dress that I’ll ignore them.

I know, Sarah Jessica Parker is filming for the Sex and the City movie (is it just me or is that taking FOREVER to film?), so it’s not like this is part of her personal wardrobe. I also know that it’s supposed to be haute couture and haute couture is always something no one would ever actually wear in real life.

None of that changes the fact that it’s frickin’ ugly as hell.

I don’t know. Sarah Jessica Parker has this really great body and can wear so many things because of it. Why she would choose to honor Valentino by wearing this chair-turned-dress is totally beyond me, especially when she looked stunning in some of her other choices at the same gala.
