Oversized to the extreme

I confess that I have a bag that my husband hates. It’s a messenger style bag and I’ve used it as a purse when I’ve needed to carry a lot of things. It’s perfect for your wallet, digital camera, a couple of diapers for your baby and an extra sweater for your pre-schooler. I’ve also recently found out that it’s a great fit for my laptop if I ever need to take it somewhere. He thinks it’s too big. I love it.

Yet even I can not condone a bag as ginormous as Cameron Diaz’s Chanel denim bag. It’s ridiculous (and not just because it costs $1395!). It looks like it’s big enough to require a long handle and some wheels. What on EARTH could she need to carry with her that would require that much space?! Especially since she’s carrying another purse on her shoulder!

Just because it’s expensive doesn’t mean it’s great

You can bet that this Fendi Spy Bag is super pricey, right?

But the question is - why? It’s a purse covered in an overload of hideous sequins. Who buys this stuff?!
