The rep says the singer was, in fact, sound asleep and went outside in her jeans and bra when she heard a noise.

Asleep? Is that what they’re calling it now? Because I know I always sleep in my bra and jeans and then run outside without throwing a sweater on when I’m “not on a bender”.

Invest in sunscreen now

The best thing about this picture of Joan Van Ark at a reading is that it might convince young women everywhere to invest in a large tub of sunscreen and forget about this suntanning crap. Because, sure a little bronze color might make you look all vibrant and stuff but I think I’d much rather be the lightest shade of pale than end up looking like a piece of cracked up, beaten down shoe leather when I get older.

(If you’re younger than I am, it should be noted that this woman was once a very beautiful woman.)

I don’t get it

I think everyone has one or two (or ten) celebrities where they just don’t get it. Everyone in the world is enamored with them and you’re all, “I don’t see it. What’s the big deal?”

For me? Colin Farrell.

I don’t get the attraction. I mean, he’s not hideously ugly but he always looks so scruffy and his clothes always look like he slept in them for three days straight, and he sort of gives me the impression that if he has to choose between partying and showering, he’ll choose fun over hygiene - and that he makes that choice regularly.

A little too frothy

I’m not saying that Carrie Underwood doesn’t look beautiful in this Elsie Katz Couture gown. She totally does. It’s a little too girly-pink and ruffly for me, but it looks fantastic on her, and if she had worn it for the American Music Awards, I’d be all over it.

But she wore this to the movie premiere for Enchanted. Isn’t that a little too much for a premiere, even if it is a red carpet? I guess it sort of works if you think about what the movie is about, but still, it’s a bit of overkill I think.

At first glance, Reese Witherspoon looks beautiful in her dress - the color is great on her and the style with the cutouts is different without being weird or over-the-top.

But then I noticed that her girls are looking decidedly unsupported. Reese needs a bra with a bit of lift, because otherwise this dress would be spectacular.

Something just doesn’t fit

I’m not saying that Kelly Osbourne’s dress isn’t beautiful, because it is, but it just doesn’t seem to match up. Her personality and usual style doesn’t go with this type of old Hollywood gown. It’s kind of reminding me of that time when Courtney Love had her short-lived phase where she stopped wearing ripped babydoll dresses and wore Versace gowns everywhere she went. Nice on the surface, but not meshing with what’s underneath.
