I know that when Keds got someone as pretty as Mischa Barton to peddle their shoes they probably got big ideas about where they could go.

But you know, I don’t care who you get as your spokesperson, Keds are comfy, cute casual shoes and no matter how much you try with an open toe and a high heel, they will never be the perfect accompaniment to a little polka dot dress.

You know, the dress isn’t my style at all, but I could forgive it because she still looks pretty good. However, I can not in any way condone silvery, glittery shoes (even if they ARE Christian Louboutin) with black nylons. You can not do that. If you want to wear anything other than black shoes, you can’t wear black nylons.

Apparently it’s a whole new trend to wear short dresses with little booties. I’m not sure what the appeal is. They cut the line of the leg off right at the ankle and it just looks awkward. They’d look much better with actual boots or with heels, but the booties trend is weird. But if Tyra, Carmen, and Naomi are all wearing them, you know it’s unfortunately going to stick around.

Men and flip flops

There is no reason in the world for a man to wear flip flops with jeans and a blazer while sitting inside. Men in flip flops are iffy at best, but at least on the beach or poolside it almost makes sense. Indoors? At an event? NO NO NO.

Zac Efron, just because you’re a big old star now doesn’t mean you can wear crap like that and not get mocked for it.

I know Paris Hilton has made an entire career out of standing out in a crowd and wearing cutting edge styles just because she has all that money so why the hell not, right? But please, PLEASE tell me Paris skipped this ridiculous item.

Who in the hell designs a pair of boots that looks like bare legs wearing high heeled shoes? What is the point? If you want the heels, just wear heels! If it’s too cold, there are plenty of outrageously cute boots (WITH HEELS) that you can choose from. This is just idiotic. Plus, what if it doesn’t even come close to matching your skin tone - how much of a moron would you look like then?

If Paris is seen parading around in these clown boots I will possibly throw up in my mouth just a little.
