When it was the late 80s and early 90s, I unfortunately owned several dresses and skirts that had giant bows somewhere on them. When I looked back, I cringed.

I’m sure – I HOPE – that someday Fergie too will look back and cringe over wearing this black dress with a big ribbon and two bows on it.

Dear Lauren Ambrose,

Please don’t wear baggy jeans under a dress. The dress-over-pants fashion statement was always kind of weird but baggy jeans make it even worse. And I didn’t think that was possible.
